Living Homes Inc. has two divisions…
Founded and owned by Lisa Cole, Living Homes Inc. builds homes in all price ranges, from starter homes to high-end customs. Over the years, Living Homes has also built pool houses, managed interior remodels, structural remodels, assisted with rezoning, and developed land for small residential communities. Currently, Living Homes Inc. builds in Williamson and surrounding Tennessee counties. Most of the General Contracting projects have been in Brentwood, Franklin, Thompson's Station, Spring Hill, and College Grove. Lisa is an internationally certified project manager (PMP). Her scheduling and communication skills are what make her a leader in her industry.

In 2009 Lisa Cole, started Restore Independence, a division of Living Homes Inc. This division specializes in modifying homes for seniors and people with special needs. We provide an assessment of the home for things that impede peoples safety or ease of living. The main areas that we look at are: daily living activities like laundry, mail retrieval, meal prep, bathing, telephone, pet care, visibility issues, mobility problems, and hearing limitations. We also work in conjunction with therapists to ensure the persons medical needs are considered. Living Homes Inc. is approved to do work for state funded projects. "I enjoy the creativeness of the business, before I even pull a permit, I want to know how people live, how they'll move their furniture into the house, what household things they argue about and how they want to spend their free time. For example, I usually have tons of storage space, wider staircases and maintenance free exteriors. I even offer a solution for exterior floodlights that does not require climbing a ladder to change the bulb! From there, I focus on the flow of the home and the bathroom and kitchen layouts. Then, I make sure that every little detail is decided, even down to the style and finish of the doorstops."  Lisa believes in spending money wisely. She strongly recommends spending more on cabinets and things that aren't easy to replace. Living Homes' projects run more smoothly due to
the extensive amount of up front planning. Lisa holds an international certificate with the Project Management Institute (PMP). This knowledge helps her to clearly define and communicate the scope of the project with the customer and all subcontractors. Her PMP expertise also keeps her project completions on-time and on-budget. "I have never had to go back to a customer and ask for more money. I have finished every project on or below budget. Scheduling is a little harder with Tennessee's unpredictable weather, however, I have only exceeded my schedule completion date on one project and that was by four days." Lisa's a strong problem solver, which pays off when dilemmas arise on the job site. Her subcontractors appreciate her efficiency in scheduling and how she knows and communicates exactly what she wants.
